Christian Cramp
Investment Manager
Christian has been working in the finance industry since 2015 and is now Honeywell Capitals Senior Economist, Director, and Owner. Holding various roles from entry level paraplanning to Head of Compliance, he brings a strong ethical approach and a rigorous investment philosophy that he wishes to share with his client base. Christian has also held voting positions on investment committees for retail superannuation, Australian equities, and Direct Property.
Christian is the lead in our economics department and his primary role is to consistently review key investment strategies for the benefit of the clients.
Christian currently holds a diploma of financial planning, a diploma of legal services and a diploma of property services. Christian also has a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and a Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, achieved at the University of Newcastle. Christian is also currently undertaking his Bachelor of Laws.
What do you enjoy about financial planning?
I love that it brings together all facets of the finance industry. It also is primarily a services based industry. To help, assist and build with clients is very rewarding.
What is the best piece of financial advice you have been given?
“Don’t spend more than you have.”
What are your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy spending time with my family and have a keen interest in sport. I like to engage in as many competitive games as I can; and I enjoy reading.
What are your goals for the future?
I would like to build Honeywell Capital into the No. 1 Financial Planning firm in Newcastle.
