Lily spent most of her years growing up moving around but spent majority of her time on the Sunshine Coast and in Orange. She currently lives in Broadmeadow with her best friends. She moved to Newcastle for my degree and has been here for almost 6 years now. Her parents live in Orange, and she like to take time to go visit them and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside.
Lily currently holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources, from the University of Newcastle.
What do you enjoy about financial planning?
At Honeywell Capital we are largely focused on working with Superannuation and our clients retirement funds. I really enjoy when we can greatly surpass individual expectations about how much super they will have to support themselves once they can no longer work. Some people have been dealt a difficult hand in life, and I love that through financial planning we can offer them hope about the future.
What is the best piece of financial advice you have been given?
“Always try to have a safety net. Having a small amount of money tucked away for emergency’s is a great buffer for those unexpected bills and other expenses.”
What are your hobbies or interests?
Cooking, playing guitar and singing, crocheting, sewing, listening to music, reading, dancing, travelling. On weekends I like to get out in the sunshine for a walk or a swim, and host dinner parties with friends.
What are your goals for the future?
My goal is to be happy and to fill my life up with experiences. I want to have financial stability, to see more of the world, spend more time with friends and family and to grow my skills.
